Returns Policy
We do not accept returns of any product, for food safety reasons. This page explains why, and what to do instead if something is wrong with your order.
No returns. Raw poultry that has left our cold chain cannot be taken back for health reasons. Check your order at delivery β once the delivery note is signed, no return or refund is possible.
No returns on fresh produce
Everything we sell is fresh, raw, perishable poultry. Once it has left our cold chain we cannot verify how it was transported, stored or handled.
Taking it back would mean handling and potentially redistributing food of unknown history. That is a health risk we will not take, on your behalf or anyone else's.
For that reason we do not accept returns of any product, opened or unopened, and returned product cannot be resold.
Inspection at delivery is the check point
Your order is checked with you when it is delivered. That is your one opportunity to inspect every pack.
If something is not right, raise it there and then and do not sign the delivery note.
Signing the delivery note means the order is correct, complete and in good condition. Once it is signed we take no further responsibility for the goods, and for health reasons no return or refund can follow.
Reporting a problem
If you are not satisfied with a product, give us full reasons in writing at accounts@dreyersrus.co.za, with your order number and photographs where possible.
The report is escalated internally and a replacement or refund is considered on the facts of the case. It is not automatic.
Where a delivery note has been signed, no return, refund or replacement will be made. There is no exception to this.
Storage after delivery
Refrigerate or freeze your order immediately on receipt. We cannot take responsibility for produce that spoiled because it was left out or stored incorrectly after delivery.
