Dreyersrus Boerdery is a family poultry farm in South Africa. We rear, slaughter, pack and sell our own poultry directly to customers.

You need to register before you can place an order. You must give us accurate details, including a contact number and a physical address, and keep them up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for anything done through your account.

We may suspend an account that is used fraudulently or abusively.

All our products are fresh poultry, prepacked to a fixed weight. The pack size and its price are shown before you add anything to your basket.

Product photographs are for illustration. The pack you receive is the weight you ordered.

We may change prices, pack sizes and the range on offer at any time. The prices that apply to your order are the ones shown when you place it.

Orders run to a cut-off so we can slaughter and pack for a known batch. The cut-off is shown on the site while ordering is open.

An order is only confirmed once it is placed and paid. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, if payment fails, or if the delivery address is outside the area we can reach. If we cancel, you are refunded in full.

Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where we are registered for it.

Card payments are processed by PayFast. We never see or store your card details.

Where payment is by EFT, your order is only released once the money reflects in our account.

Delivery is free within 40 km of the farm. Beyond that we charge R 7.10 per kilometre for each kilometre past 40 km.

Because this is fresh produce, your order is checked with you when it is delivered. Please inspect everything before you sign.

Signing the delivery note confirms that you received the order in good condition and in full. Once it is signed we accept no further responsibility for the goods.

We do not accept returns, we do not give refunds, and we do not cancel paid orders. Because we sell raw perishable poultry, this is a food safety position. It is set out in full in our Refund / Cancellation Policy and our Returns Policy.

If you are not satisfied with what was delivered, say so before you sign the delivery note. Once the delivery note is signed, the order is accepted as correct and in good condition and no refund or return can follow.

Our products are fresh and perishable. Refrigerate or freeze them immediately on receipt and handle raw poultry hygienically.

We are not responsible for product that has spoiled because it was not stored or handled correctly after it left our care.

We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy / POPIA Policy.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the version that applies to it.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
